Sangam Education Resource
Sangam is an education resource organisation located outside Bangalore City on the edge of the village of Silvepura in South India.
The word "Sangam" means: a point of meeting; a confluence. Sangam is therefore a meeting point of people, cultures, and ideas. We are a place where people come to, in order to understand more about our area of India. We conduct educational workshops and residential projects for children, teachers, students and adult groups who share our interests in creative education, art, craft, and exploring the culture and geography of our locality.
We organise each project to fit with the interests and needs of the group visiting us, with involves careful organisation and co-ordination before the project begins. Our projects can run from one hour long workshops, to half day programmes of activities, to two week residential projects throughout the year. Each group must consist of six or more participants who agree on a theme for the programme of activities.
Our residential site is locally known as The Land. Please click on the link for information about our site, facilities and accommodation.
